North Carolina traveling to Boston College is another interesting matchup this week where I’m really having a hard time understanding the line. The Boston College unit is 2-0 after beating Duke and Texas State, which isn’t impressive in itself but when you dive deeper its even worse honestly. They only beat Duke 26-6 after turning Duke over 5 times to their 1. Typically you’d expect a larger margin with that type of turnover discrepancy in a matchup but that wasn’t the case. Then, if you thought they’d play better against Texas State last week you’d be wrong again! Texas State was up 21-7 at the end of the 3rd Quarter and up 21-14 with less than two minutes left before Texas State collapsed giving up 10 points prior to time expiring to result in the 24-21. If that’s not enough BC also had what was a near pick six down inside the 10 resulting in 7 of their points. What I’m trying to say is it’s really hard to get behind BC this week. UNC started slow against Syracuse and really came on. They’ve not played in a couple of weeks so we expect them to play a little better from the starting bell this week despite being on the road. If you’re wagering be sure to get under the critical number of 14.
