Most times this would be a full on sandwich situation for Tennessee, but after the poor performance in the second half I think it inspires them knowing they had played a top 5 team, just couldn’t finish the last 1.5 quarters. With Alabama on deck Tennessee should be ultra focused not on Alabama, but the task at hand of getting to a place where they can play a full 60 minutes against top tier talent. I still don’t love JG, he’s a liability, but Kentucky isn’t the team to stop them this week. Kentucky has been pretty sluggish this year on offense, I don’t expect anything different this week. Last week they hammered Mississippi State 24-2, yet they were the beneficiary of 6 MSU turnovers! They had less than 100 yards rushing and passing. I do think they’re a solid team but it just feels like a bad matchup that Tennessee can make them one dimensional in. It doesn’t qualify for 60% or more but it does meet our small lean, a decent line, and great situational impact for Tennessee.
