No reason not to get a piece of the big time prime time game this weekend. I think these are two of the best units in the country in the Alabama offense and the Georgia defense, both are on another level. With that said, we’ve deferred to good defense traveling each week and getting just enough offense to cover, I think it’s the same story this week. I’ve never seen Alabama’s defense this far out of whack and regardless of Georgia’s question mark at QB, I still think they can get enough offense going via the run and throwing to the tight end (exactly what Alabama struggled with last week and even Texas A&M). The only thing keeping me from betting more on this one is the one possibility that the field conditions last week in Mississippi played a bigger role in how poorly that defense played. We’ll find out really quickly if that was the case but even then I love Georgia’s defense despite the great Alabama offense. If you can get +7 later in the week I’d add an extra 1% to this wager but as it stands it’ll be a standard wager.
