We obviously don’t know a ton about these two squads as their not at the top of the FBS power ratings, but we do have an interesting dynamic in play that I think warrants a small play. Last week Army really struggled against The Citadel which cost them a sizeable deduction in our power ratings. On the opposite end of the spectrum we had UTSA play extremely well against a very talented BYU squad, which rewarded them with a nice bump in our power ratings. Despite the two sizeable changes we still have Army winning by nearly two touchdowns in this one. We aren’t as confident in our Group of 5 picks compared to the Power 5 ones, but this has a lot going our way so we’ll take a flier. It’s a great time for the two teams to regress back to the norm, Army a little better than they showed last week and UTSA not quite as good as their performance against BYU. If we’re correct then we should see a nice win from Army. I don’t necessarily think the half point is needed in this one either!
